Patrick commenced employment at Brian Deegan Lawyers in 2009 whilst studying a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting at the University of Adelaide.
He was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia in 2014 after completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Since the commencement of his employment some 6 years ago, Patrick has developed a firm understanding of the law and what is important to his client.
Patrick has experience in Criminal Law, regularly appearing in the Magistrate and District Courts for traffic infringements, minor and major indictable charges and civil matters relating to criminal assets confiscation proceedings.
Patrick also has a keen passion in Civil and Commercial Law, in particular litigation. He has successfully sought stays in proceedings allowing our clients to resolve matters without the necessity of lengthy and costly trials. His assistance to Senior Counsel in research and defence is a vital ingredient to achieving successful results.
He also has an interest in conveyancing acting directly with purchasers and vendors ensuring their assets are dealt with in a timely manner without error.
