Following separation, a principal concern is your right to property. It can be difficult to know who is entitled to what and it is important to know your rights as soon as possible.
We will explain the law simply and clearly. For example, did you know that your assets at the beginning of the relationship, your financial and non-financial (home-maker, parent etc) contributions during your relationship and your future needs will impact settlement.
We aim to resolve most matters by way of negotiations or alternative dispute resolution such as mediation. However, should agreement not be reached, we will go to Court and fight for your rights.
